I absolutely flew through this novella in about 2 hours. It was lovely to revisit all the characters I’d missed since reading the last heartstopper!
The story was quite different to the lovey-dovey style of most of heartstopper, mostly focused around a big argument, so I think I enjoyed that slightly less, but still loved the story and characters. It had some frustrating elements of avoiding each other and not discussing things when you should, classic tropes from teenage/young adult-hood, but it made the ending so much more worth it.
I will say there seem to be some mild spoilers as to what’s to come in heartstopper 5 given that this is set when Nick is 18 and Charlie is 17, so avoid for now if you don’t want to spoil it! But I really enjoyed the story either way and can’t wait for heartstopper 5 whenever that comes about!
