Who Are You?: The Kid's Guide to Gender Identity by Brook Pessin-Whedbee
5.0
I placed this in the LGBT Non-fiction category of my collection because it belongs. Simple words convey that gender is a spectrum and some people are cis and that is okay while others are not and that is okay but that is up to the individual, not those around even though a baby can't communicate that (yet). I love the art, showing that nothing is boy things or girl things it is just things and that it's fine to like what you like.
I know I am male (trans guy) and I have a range of masculine and feminine things. when female I was pressured to one side, when transitioning I was pressured into another but for me, I balance both out because my identity is male not clothing cut specifically for the kinda typical expectation for a set body frame.
