Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
5.0
Type of read: Commuter read.
What made me pick it up: Reese's book club list.
Overall rating: First off, holy buckets be ready to just jump right into the story because there is no build-up (definitely not complaining about this but it's a bit of a change from many of the other Reese's book club books). I really liked the concept of 'Wrong Place, Wrong Time.' It was an interesting take on a traditional thriller and I'm completely here for it. It does get a bit hard keeping track of the timeline with the way they state it 'day minus XXXXXX.' Thankfully, in most instances, they give a specific date to help reground you. I've become a bit skeptical of Reese's book club list, some are total hits and others total misses...'Wrong Place, Wrong Time' is an absolute home run. It kept me guessing, it got me a bit emotional, and I was invested in the storyline. I would absolutely recommend it to those who enjoy an unconventional twist on the traditional he said, she said romantic thriller.
