Whilst Dark Matter has an intriguing premise, fun plot, and satisfying conclusion, it never manages to rise above anything other than quick and easy Sci fi fare. I wanted more out of this book, but didn't get it due to the poor characterisation and plot holey convoluted nature of the latter half of the book, which felt overly episodic in places.

Worth a read for a Sci fan and i hope the TV adaptation is great, but don't expect to be blown away by the multiversey escapades of Jason Dessen.
