An absolute delight. I wish I had the skill to write a proper review. Sometimes it felt a bit like A Tree Grows In Brooklyn for its description of day to day. There's also a dash of history, etiquette manual, intrigue, comedy...just so many things. I suspect that like A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, I will reread this often.
