really, really great overview of modern issues within the sphere of racial and social justice. ill definitely be recommending this book and specific chapters to some choice white ppl in my life. this helped me put a lot of thoughts and ideas into words, and many of the discussions presented are applicable to everyday life and conversation. the thoroughness of the research and attention to counterarguments are incredible, and i feel a lot more prepared to talk about race with fellow white folks and be more vehemently antiracist.
