I expected this to be more like a memoir with some hilarious commentary on life thrown in, but Claudia strikes me as someone who while pretending to be open, is actually quite private about her life, so I'm not entirely surprised this book wasn't in any way a memoir. I can hear Claudia saying the words as I was reading them and she's very funny. I don't always agree with her assessment of the minutiae of life but the big things I do agree with and I enjoyed reading her views. This is the kind of book that could be a newspaper column; easy to read in bite sized chunks and not linear so you can dip in and out.
