He's So Slick by Sinclair Kelly

I saw this book popping up everywhere when it came out, but I just kept putting off picking it up because I wasn’t really in a hockey mood. But I didn’t realize that this book was written by Sinclair Kelly! Kelly wrote one of my favorite Omegaverse series that I read this year, and I should’ve known this book would be excellent! I picked it up, and I LOVED THE LITTLE EASTER EGGS! We got to see some of the main characters from that other series, and now I cannot wait for the next book to come out. Anyway, this was a lot of fun, and I loved West! She didn’t let being an omega be bad or hold her back. She wasn’t trying to hide it. The whole time, she is being herself, and she’s fantastic. Plus, I loved that each chapter had whichever POV we were in as the chapter headers, and I love it when books do that! In this one, we end up having 4 male leads, and I hate that Ziggy didn’t make the cover! The other thing that annoyed me was how similar Ziggy and Nash were to Huxley and Porter. Granted, Nash is a jerk face to everyone but Ziggy and West, but at the end of the day, we had the same bro set up between the two groups, and it got a little confusing to tell who is who and how they are connected. But these characters were so much fun, and I can’t wait to see them pop up in later books because I believe the series is going to be following West’s friend group, and I think they are going to end up with at least one hockey player in their packs. Plus, I really hope the next book is the other series, sister!
