Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

5.0

This is the first book I've read by Ng and all I can say is WOW. Little Fires Everywhere is so well-written, with multiple stories layered together beautifully. I'll be honest and say it's a bit slow moving in the beginning, but as the stories began to develop, I found myself unable to put the book down. The characters are portrayed so well that I could picture them throughout almost the entire novel. Each time a new story was introduced, almost like a tangent, I worried it would fail. However, each character and story weaved together perfectly in the end. This one will definitely leave you thinking about the complexity (and importance) of family and relationships.
