I still feel a very deep eeoing of devastation about this ending in my heart. I have to thank @li.bbrary for introducing me to this absolute dream of a book! When I heard what it's about I was immediately like, yeah, I need this book ASAP. And so I got it. And I do not even slightly regret that.
This book was exactly what I imagined it to be. I was so hooked by the emotional story it portrayed. The very immersive writing style of Thao is so beautiful and really gave me a feeling of pain and sadness and grieve while reading this. I got the connections all the characters had with each other and the ways they interacted.
This truly devastating story showed perfectly just how much the death of a loved one can get to someone and how it affects nit only them but also the people around them. Having only recently had to feel something like this too, the feelings in this were relatable. Unlike Julie though, I did not have the chance to say things to that person I wish I could have said, but this book gave me clarity that that person already knows that.
So, simply put, J can only recommendbthis book so much and I really love it!
