A Fire in the Flesh by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.0
A Fire in the Flesh, book 3 of the Flesh and Fire series, is now available!
So much of this book just hurt. It was emotional and angsty, and so very good.
Both Sera and Nyktos (Ash) have been captured/trapped by Kolis. And Kolis? He is...scary. That is really the only word for it.
Sera is amazing in many ways. She is so strong, even as she falls apart inside. As each day passes, the embers within her grow stronger, bringing her closer to her Ascension...and death.
Ash and Sera. I seriously love them and what they are to one another. And while they are separated for most of the book, Sera's time spent with Kolis is pretty vital to the plot of both the Flesh and Fire series and the Blood and Ash series. We learn a lot about the gods, the realm, the Ascended and Revenants, and where loyalties truly lie.
There are so many important elements and plot points in this story, so be sure to pay close attention.
Another must read!
