I thought it was a good storyline with great character building.
There are all sorts of trigger alerts for all the things, so look out for those.
I did feel like it was realistic as I have spent many years in relationships with toxic narcissists. I don’t feel like any of Emily’s reactions were unbelievable.
It did end rather abruptly and I did have questions that weren’t answered. As a reader I just like those endings tidied up unless we get a sequel. But maybe that’s just me.
