I randomly found this short story (it really was short) and it was quite bizarre. An interesting way to express the greed of humans. After all, no one can resist a bargain. It also goes to show to what extent people are ready to go to once they feel like they can. Power corrupts easily.

The ambiguous ending fit perfectly with the story. I'm still curious about the 'thing', nonetheless it was still entertaining and a quick read.
