Home Stretch by Graham Norton

3.0

There is no question that Graham can write and his story-telling is on point but while I enjoyed this book and its central characters, the timeline left me a little confused and I found sometimes I started a chapter not knowing what the hell was going on and who the characters were. It's for that reason that I'm giving it a 3 and not a 4. I enjoyed the cosy nature of the story despite some dark themes and some challenging storylines. I did feel that the middle of the book was a bit lean in terms of plot, it felt a bit like we were waiting for the denouement of the story rather than building towards it. But all-in-all I enjoyed it very much and I'm sure I'll get round to reading whatever Graham writes.
