This was actually very cute. I’m glad the main location was at the house instead of at work or school. I was very hesitant to read this, because of the three books I’ve read from Ali, they always have the same set up, but this was a nice switch. I like how Liam and Mara are in separate fields of work, but are both individually intelligent and excel in their line of work. Liam is basically a cinnamon roll boyfriend who falls first and it’s really cute to watch them go from disliking one another, to friends, to lovers. There was a lot of miscommunication or just lack of communication which is frustrating throughout, but it’s still a cute quick read.
