The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley
3.5
Unfortunately another book that didn’t live up to my expectations! I found the book enjoyable enough but the pacing of the plot was a bit slow, especially in the beginning. It took awhile for the story to pick up so I did find myself losing interest.
I found the second half of the book a lot easier to read, the story started to develop more and the suspense began to build up. I enjoyed the alternating POVs between each of the residents, it added more depth to the story and helped me get to know the characters more. I wasn’t expecting the twist in the last few chapters which was a pleasant surprise!
Overall, the book was slow to start but it managed to redeem itself abit in the second half, making it a decent read.
