The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
5.0
Such a fun, quirky, charming book. Felt my heart grow three sizes as I listened.
I’ve been spoiled by full cast audiobooks lately but I also forgot how fun it is to have one narrator who does voices for each unique character. It felt like someone telling me a nice story and I’m grateful I got to hear it.
Re-read 3/25/22: I started providing therapy for kids in the foster system in august of last year and rereading this book with those experiences in mind has made it even more special and heartbreaking to me. Yes I will be rereading for a third time immediately. Mind ur business.
