I give this 5 starts. I’ve read a bunch of “meh” books lately so this might be slightly biased since I finally got to a book that had me so fully engaged and left satisfied with the read. This book was actually funny. Rhys, our cursed ex-bf, is funny and witty and charming and…well, don’t we always love a good “Rhys” (must be in the name iykyk). I want to be a Jones witch and part of their family. The level of spooky of this book was low so if you scare easily, this is a very tame witchy book. Definitely recommend putting this book on your Spooky Szn TBR.
🍂“But she did love it. Especially now with the first hint of fall in the air, the leaves orange, the sky purple. Penhaven was always at its best in the autumn.”🍂
😘 “Better than any magic, Vivienne’s kiss.” 😘
