The House in the Pines by Ana Reyes
4.0
After seeing this title around a lot and noticing that it’s a Reese’s Book Club , I knew I had to read it asap.
I must say that I found myself immerse in the story. It’s chaotic in parts but it all makes sense in the end. The timelines are easy to read and the characters are even easier to relate to.
I think it would make for a great movie and I’ll be curious to see who would play Maya and Frank.
I loved learning more about her father’s family.
The YouTube video made for an interesting start of the book and I held my breath when he confessed what his father was doing.
I’m happy that everything turned out good for Maya and that she had David to support her in the end. And I loved her mother.
