Aliens Hijacked My Heart by Hawke Oakley

lighthearted fast-paced

4.75

I found this book a great read. Unlike the first, which I felt was dense and info-heavy, Hawke Oakley just let go and created a fun, silly story about the grumpy scientist of their crashed group of humans getting with the town ray of sunshine. I usually don't really like the grumpy/sunshine dynamic, but for this one I just found it enjoyable and a bit cute.

It's a great book if you want something light, and I won't lie. It made me chuckle a bit. It does require you to read the first book to understand what's happening and most of the world, but I would say it would still be able to be read as a standalone alright enough. It might just be a bit confusing..
