Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb

3.0

Another solid Eve Dallas installment. It was full of things we expect, like Peabody’s unfailing kindness except when wrapping up bad guys and Eve’s constant misunderstanding of language most of us find innate.

There is suicide bombers, stolen art, and one memorable moment of strife between Eve and her husband, Roarke. I didn’t know who did the crimes and that always makes for a nice cop thriller. Yes, the formula may be the same, but isn’t that part of the charm that keeps us coming back for more Dallas and her mismatched family?
