God, it took me long enough to finish this. I expected so much more out of Stoker. He failed to fully explain many of the events that took place, so I was left in the dark, totally confused. I also expected a much more satisfying monster and hunt for a monster. He took so long to eventually reach any kind of action I am surprised that I continued. However, the story was not terrible, and it did keep me relatively interested (enough for me to finish). Choose this book wisely and know what you're getting yourself into and do not feel bad if you cannot continue. It took all my patience to finish.
