I was engaged from start to finish. The characters have a mystery to solve while trying to figure out what is actually happening or if it is all in their heads.
The pacing is slow overall and the writing style tends to be overly wordy, but that didn’t bother me. If you struggle with the slower-paced, overly wordy classics but want to read this one, I highly recommend the audiobook narrated by Josephine Bailey and Simon Prebble, they did an amazing job.
