I adored reading this book.
Seeing how the characters changed throughout, it was done well, and we watched Cass slowly turn into the monster he initially feared. He turned into what his brother did after his trials.
Having the choice of the main character at the beginning of the book come back to bite them in the arse later was also really fun to read!
I am really sad I can't instantly go onto book 2 of this series, as that cliffhanger has made me curious.
