I read this because it was recommended as a great sci fi story for people who don't usually read sci fi. The premise sounded good, but not something I would usually pick up. 

Oh my goodness, I stayed up so late, I felt so much anxiety, I was totally invested in this story. I didn't know how it would end until the last few pages. I won't say more because that would be spoiler territory.
