Patsy Cline's Walkin' After Midnight by Judith Proffer, Judith Proffer, Yoko Matsuoka

I was thrilled when Book Publicity Services reached out to me and asked if I would review Patsy Cline's: Walkin' After Midnight by Judith Proffer and Julie Fudge. I am a huge fan of Patsy Cline's rich, timeless voice.
After doing some research, I found out that Julie Fudge is Patsy Cline's daughter, and that she was only 5 years old when her mother passed. I wish that there had been an author blurb because it would have made the book so much more meaningful if I had known that before reading. I love when a book inspires me to learn more, and this book definitely made me curious to read and learn more about Patsy.
My one issue with this book is the font. It is *so* challenging to read the cursive, and it feels very busy. I understand the vibe that it's trying to convey, but it kind of takes away from the story. If it was challenging for myself, I imagine that it would be almost impossible for many of my students to read this book by themselves.
