This took me a good chunk of the book to actually get invested into what was happening in this house. It was all interesting, but (and especially in the first half of the book) the journal entries were very repetitive, I felt like I was rereading the same exact scenario multiple times just in another characters POV. However, once the characters go into the well in the basement, I couldn’t put this book down. I was hooked. I love everything about the last half of this book. The twists and turns of the labyrinth the characters are in, the different ways the spirits try to break each character, and just the creativity of what happens in the spirit world. The end was jaw dropping and leaves a lot to the readers imagination. I also really enjoyed the format of this book! The idea of writing out raw video footage, the journals (once they stopped repeating the same scenes), and the multiple diagrams! It was a very creative way to write out a found footage horror novel!
