We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler

Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.
I really wanted to like this book!  I tried to get through it for so long but eventually, it got to the point where the writing was giving me a headache.  Sadly, I found the main character whiny and unrelatable.  In my opinion, her only personality trait is the fact that
she was really into big words as a kid???
.  I think if anything, things happen to Rosemary but she doesn't make anything happen for herself....at least not as far into the book as I got.  The book moves slowly until the "big reveal" and honestly, when I found out that
her sister was a chimpanzee,
I closed the book and laughed for at least ten minutes.  I enjoyed learning about different philosophical and psychological concepts and I definitely learned some new words.  I think Fowler does a great job examining the pain that humans inflict on animals all in the name of science, however, this was just not the read for me.
