Wow! "Welcome to Cooper" is a dark read indeed. I listened to the audiobook, which is brilliantly narrated by Ryan Jordan McCarthy and Frankie Corzo. McCarthy's sinister tone really adds to the creepy atmosphere created by Tariq Ashkanani. I don't want to give any spoilers but parts of this book blew my mind! Suffice it to say, Ashkanani skilfully subverts our expectations.
