Girl, Forgotten by Karin Slaughter

challenging dark tense

4.0

Girl, Forgotten is the second book in the Andrea Oliver series so keep that in mind if you continue reading my review.
It was another slow thriller (like Pieces of Her) but I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed the two different timelines and POVs. We follow Emily in the early 1980s. She is trying to find out who hurt her so badly. In the now, we follow Andrea once again, who is trying to solve the mystery around Emily. I really enjoyed collecting clues with Emily and puzzling them all together with Andrea. There was room for many guesses and different theories. The testimonies by the different characters throughout the story were very interesting and gave some guidelines in the case Emily.
I overall enjoyed this book and I would love to read more about Andrea.
