I've read a lot of memoirs, but this one is one of my favorites. I applaud Jennette McCurdy for her unbelievable courage in writing this. It's an unflinching look at parental abuse, child actor exploitation, eating disorders, substance abuse, and the strength and resilience it requires to overcome those things day-by-day. Recovery is a daily process, and I hope that hers is still going well.
