As ACOTAR this one started out very slow in my opinion and around 20 chapters in I was very close to DNF it. I picked the series up because I wanted to know what the hype was about. I'm glad I pushed through and switching to the audiobook helped me immensely to enjoy the book! The first 70% were ok for me but the last 30% and especially the last 100 pages were so good!
Some new characters were intruduced and I got very confused at first but once I knew who was who I really enjoyed them all!
I'm still not 100% invested but it's enough for me to continue reading. Also I still need to see certain people destroy certain courts. 🙂
I also really have a love/hate relationship with Feyre and Rhys. I'm sometimes like, ok they are very cute, supportive and respectful and all and in the next minute they turn into thirsty teenagers and I really don't like that.
I see how they are so loved by so many readers but they sadly don't work out for me most of the time.
