Okay, I really hate to say it but I had to DNF this book. While I’m sure that it has good messages and might even cover racism, but I found myself just spacing out and not caring. And from the beginning to where I ended I found myself just not enjoying it or being gripped tightly by this book, which is what I need in order to keep reading/listening to it. I’d say I gave it a solid chance of 2 hours and 40 minutes, I may not like it now but I hope I can pick it back up again in the future and see if I like it more then.
