Oh my goodness this book!!! Sometimes you read the right book at exactly the right time and it just feels like the stars align. This was the warmest of hugs, the sweetest of characters, a quiet delight. It was philosophical but not in an over the top way. I loved that both of our main characters are genderless and also that tons of characters were non binary and that that was never an issue (or even really commented on, it just was). Reading this made me feel the way I feel when I watch Wall-e or when I play Animal Crossing or when I work on a puzzle with my family or when someone holds me and says that everything will be okay. This might be a favorite of all time?? I absolutely adored this.
