It was a good overall story.

Ahh, the friends-to-lovers trope—my favourite. This one was a little bit more interesting: We have friends first, then not, and back to friends then something more.

I liked Crush’s daughter but the way she spoke was weird little kids don’t speak like that.
Oh, how I disliked her mother no wonder Crush divorced her. (Also, why does the ex always have to be the bitch?)
Also, the nicknames were nice but oh my word, they were spoken way too much by the end of the book if I don't heard Pretty Boy or Big Country for a long time I would be just fine with that.

The narration was ok.
