A sweet and and messy queer read that I absoluetly loved. Alice Oseman is brilliant at writing characters who are trying to figure life, friendship, and themselves out. I saw so much of myself in Georgia and her experience. The pressure to have a relationship, to be with someone. The fear of ending up alone. Wondering if you would feel differently if you could just meet the right person. (Or worse, repeatedly being told that you might change your mind!)
I adored the diversity in this story, every character was so fleshed out and their own person. My favorite scene in the book is when Rooney gets Georgia flowers and says she wants them to have next door houses with a shared backyard. I unabashedly cried like a baby reading that.
A must read!
