Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson

5.0

Brandon Sanderson came highly recommended to me, and honestly, I can see why. I DEVOURED this book. While not every character is “likable” per say, each character is fully-fleshed and has an interesting enough story that it isn’t annoying when it’s their turn for a chapter. The world building was thorough, and easy enough to understand yet complex enough that it was fresh and exciting.

I loved sci-fi and fantasy as a kid and hadn’t read much of it as an adult, but I am so glad I picked up this book. I already want to reread (and read the rest of his works).
