Very torn on reviewing this because I hate to give a bad review. This is 2.5-2.75 star territory for me.

This begins as a fairly interesting, enigmatic look at South Korean boyband para-social obsession and just becomes an unruly mess.

The whole second half of the book feels like weird for the sake of weird. There are glimpses of absolutely beautiful prose, but it just lacked cohesiveness.
