I think I was not in the right mood when I started the book. I spent the first 2/3 of the book waiting for it to get interesting for me. I knew that the book has a slow start but I wasn't aware that it would be that slow.
The characters were lovely. Halfway through the book I switched to the audiobook because I could not read more than 10 pages until my eyes began to get heavy. The audiobook helped me a lot and it is probably one of the best audibooks I've ever listend too! The book is relying on it's characters and they are all so unique, funny and lovable, I loved getting to know them all.
Overall the story is very unique and I see why it is such a well loved book. I'm sure I'll do a reread sometime because I didn't do it justice the first time around.
This book is about seeing the important things in life and is filled with so many wholesome moments. I'm pretty sure I would give it 5/5⭐ the next time I read it.
"A home isn't always the house we live in. It's also the people we choose to surround ourselves with."
