This book captivated me like no other in a long time or to be honest ever! I felt like home in the pages of this novel, felt like I known these characters my entire life. Like this book is a part of me.
From the very first moment that I’ve seen this book on Instagram I immediately knew that I need to read it, the beautiful cover, the sprayed edges and the synopsis charmed me and I felt like I’ve gotten under a spell. A spell that I’m still under.
I definitely found a new favorite author in Col O. Broox and honestly my best decision last month was to start reading in Hungarian again after years. I felt God’s presence like He was leading me to read in my mother tongue because I will find new all time favorite reads and authors this way and a new world will open up to me.
This book will live inside me forever and I’m super excited to read The Story of Yellow II. next!
I love how deep of a background story I’ve got for the two main characters Hunter and Emma. Both of them were so intriguing and relatable they felt so real!
I felt like this book was written for me, with everything I Iove in a book and more with enchanting illustrations including all my favorite tropes.

I truly couldn’t put this magical book down. It was pure torture to go to sleep and stop reading this fantastic masterpiece! No book can compare to this masterpiece or author to Col O. Broox’s works and true this was only my first novel by them I’ve become addicted for more!
Ahhh this huge cliffhanger at the end!!!
