Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé
4.0
**4.5⭐**
I really liked Where Sleeping Girls Lie. I enjoyed the setting and characters, and it has an unraveling layered mystery. It deals with heavy subject matter, and while it's not a "fun" read, it's a good one.
I think it ran a bit too long, and I sometimes found myself zoning out and forgetting what exactly was happening during the day to day parts (I was listening to the audiobook). I was still always invested enough to continue, though.
CW - sexual assault / harassment, drugging, suicide / ideation
