OMG this story definitely went all over the place & I do mean the duet in whole. But this book really reached, especially drawing out Poppy’s character as the antagonist until the climax at the end. I personally think Charles & August’s story could have been told in one book with maybe a novella but it isn’t so… I’m sad to leave this big beautiful family but it’s been fun & the epilogue definitely projected HEA for the immediate family characters (not including James).
