The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson

I honestly cannot even begin to process how I feel about this book and this series as a whole. I'm crying not only for the characters that I loved, but also at the sheer incredible story telling that Brandon Sanderson has brought to light. The intricacies of this story and how everything concluded at the end still has my brain spinning. There were so many things I considered little details, but they turned out to be massive details given with such subtle grace.
I cannot even.
I even ANNOTATED this book, because I felt like I had to keep track of everything to try and theory craft. NONE of my theories were even close. Things I was so convinced of were so left field out of range it actually hurts.
I loved it.
I might add more to this review as I have time to process.... but this is it for now!

If I'm being completely honest, I think this is my favorite series to date now. (Sorry Throne of Glass.)
My only regret is that I did not read the books back to back. I feel like I did myself a disservice by waiting so long between books that the emotional buildup wasn't as heavy as I wanted. That's a me problem though.
