The premise was interesting, however, I found it hard to get through Feliciana’s POV. I understood it was supposed to read as if she was talking to Zoe, but the lengthy sentences and repetitiveness overwhelmed me. This made it tough to enjoy her story and instead I looked forward to whenever the POV switched to Zoe. Overall, I think the treatment of Paloma and Leandra’s characters who were the focal points of the novel. Feliciana and Zoe were simply their storytellers and I loved that idea.

This book was a light-hearted and short read and I recommend it for anyone who wants something small and sweet as a palate cleanser.
