The Nowhere Man by Gregg Hurwitz
3.0
I have read the first book in this series and I read a lot of the reviews which were annoyed by all the product placement. This book does do that to the same degree and I'm not entirely sure why. I mean they can't be getting product placement money, you would think, so why add it in in such a blatant way. I think it's probably to illustrate that the main character has his preferred luxury brands and that he feels he has earned them. I'm not sure. His character in this book seems a lot less sure of himself.
I found some sections of this novel a little boring. Although the middle scenes were well written, there's only so much you can do while your environment is outside of your control. I felt that section went on way too long. I will definitely read the next one but I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one.
