Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

Okay so! Other reviewers (i.e. my mom) think this was a very thick and dry book. I…am probably coming from a different background, because I absolutely devoured it, I found it very interesting–if occasionally repetitive–and I loved connecting it to what I learned in undergrad.

Some of the studies we actually talked about in class, and the overall concept is nothing new for me–the biggest, strongest part of your brain likes to make snap decisions, and your rational thinking part mostly justifies and makes minor adjustments–but this is still a really good book.
