Enjoyed the lighthouse keeper and the director’s POV. I think the whole plot of Authority could have been inserted in this one as Control’s POV and given this one a major creepy plus… I liked that it was ambiguous and all the scientific rationale for studying Area X was a fun juxtaposition to the fact that it just cant be studied empirically… but it did end underwhelmingly. Meh don’t regret it, but wont recommend it. I think the lone standing film was a great choice and skipped all the not so great 2nd and 3rd books.
