This book is marketed as gay pirate/prince romance... don't believe it, they're lying to you. It's prince/merman romance and they fall in love after two meetings. The story felt a little all over the place and predictable. I managed to guess every "twist and turn", which made the book less exciting to read. The only reason I even finished this book, let alone in a day, is because I got the audiobook and couldn't return it (also, don't listen to the audiobook, it's not very good). Everything is this novel was unrealistic and boring.
