This is by far one of my most favorite books of all time. It's heartbreaking in many ways, and yet uplifting. There is a deep truth hidden in these pages that never ceases to amaze me. It captures the inner thoughts of solitude in such an authentic and resonating way and I am amazed that I can read this book over and over (every year now, since it came out) and still be touched and amazed by the words I find inside.
