Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the heck out of this book; I just didn’t love it as much as the other books in this series.

Hanna is sweet and kind to all. She has also never lived anywhere but the small town of Willow, where she runs her business and takes care of her Great Grandmother. Who is 98 and acts like a 20 year old. This is super cute and fun to read. Who also happens to have an ornery cat call Spot who as it were likes to ride in Hanna’s bike basket.. Silly kitty.

Raiden hasn’t had the easy life, his father wasn’t a good man so at the age of 14 Raid kicked him out. He took care of his mom and sister. Then he signed up to be a Marine. But after losing a lot of guys he was close to in combat, he just wasn’t the same coming home. And who could blame him.

But the moment his eyes lay on Hanna, he was sunk.

“You do it for me because you were the girl across the street, your hair shining in the sun, laughing, making me fall in love with you, and I didn't even goddamned fucking know you.”

I do love how she brings Raid back in to the world of the living. He smiles more, he wants more out of life than he did before. And not because he was lost or anything but because he was just going through the motions. He lost a part of him, but I didn’t feel like he was the lost Alpha male kind of guy. Just that he was a little broken and needed a good women to help ease the ache.

What he didn’t know was that she had had a thing for Raiden Ulysses Miller since she was 6 and he was 9 playing tug-a-war in her Grams backyard.

“I fell in love with you when I was six and I didn't know who you were."

It took some time but living the good life where front porches with swings, and crazy cats who would rather ride in the bike basket vs a car. And a sweet Gram who thinks you can hang the moon. This is just a swoony kind of romance, what can I say sometimes you just need one of those from time to time.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion and I am allowed to have it.*
